What we keep about you, where, and why. In plain words.
What we collect
Your email address to sign you in, and whatever you choose to add: your artist profile and images, or the calls you post. Signed up for call alerts? Your email and province, and when you agreed. We don’t sell or share it.
Where it’s kept
On our own servers in Canada. Cloudflare protects the site and checks that forms are filled in by people, not bots.
Payments
Card payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. E-Transfers go through your own bank. ArtistHire never processes or stores card or bank details; for an e-Transfer we see the sender’s name and email, the amount and the message you wrote.
Cookies
Only the ones the site needs: keeping you signed in, protecting forms, and remembering your cookie choice. Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them.
Keeping it safe
Everything is encrypted in transit, sign-in links work once and expire quickly, and backups are encrypted. Found a security problem? Tell us at the address on our contact page.
Your choices
Update or delete your profile and images yourself. To remove your account or ask what we hold about you, email info@artisthire.ca.
